Sustain
Long-term accessibility support, structured around responsibility and reliance
Sustain is Par Sentio’s long-term accessibility support model serving two distinct contexts:
- organizations that own and operate digital systems and are responsible for their accessibility outcomes (Internal)
- professionals and entities that evaluate, oversee, or rely on accessibility evidence about others (External)
These contexts involve different goals, different risks, and different uses of accessibility findings. Sustain is structured accordingly.
Sustain for Operations and Growth (Internal)
Supporting accessibility practice, risk management, and long-term value
Organizations engage Sustain when accessibility moves beyond assessment and remediation and becomes an ongoing operational responsibility and strategic opportunity.
Organizations engage Sustain when they need ongoing partnership to:
- manage evolving systems, content, and technologies without losing accessibility ground
- maintain visibility into accessibility health, risks, and emerging issues over time
- integrate accessibility into proactive planning, intentional design, human-centered architecture, and inclusive delivery
- establish accessibility as a baseline requirement and business risk control, embedded alongside security, quality, and regulatory expectations
- shift accessibility from late-stage testing and remediation into first-stage requirements, design, and development practices
- support internal decision-making and governance with clear, informed guidance
- reduce legal and operational exposure through early awareness and steady oversight
- strengthen digital trust, usability, and customer experience as environments grow
- leverage accessibility as a long-term strategic advantage rather than a reactive obligation
Sustain (Internal) focuses on how accessibility becomes durable operational practice, built into day-to-day decisions, planning, governance, inclusive design and risk management as systems and the organization evolve.
Sustain for Oversight and Validation (External)
Supporting accessibility review, remediation oversight, and investigation contexts
External partners engage Sustain when accessibility work moves beyond a single assessment and requires continued involvement.
This most often occurs when findings begin to drive formal actions, remediation obligations, or resolution processes, and ongoing accessibility support is needed.
External Sustain is engaged when accessibility findings must be:
- followed through across complaint, escalation, litigation, or resolution processes
- monitored over time to track remediation progress, completion, or regression
- expanded as scope grows to include additional systems, content, or environments
- used to support corrective action planning, timelines, and verification
- relied on for structured oversight, validation, or repeated review
Sustain (External) extends the assessment relationship into a structured, longer-running partnership, supporting remediation oversight, evidence development, and continued accessibility review as situations evolve.
